Words may not be enough to express my gratitude to this driving school. Not everything can be smooth, which is to be expected, but what matters the most is the effort that these folks put in. Right from the reception to the theory or practical teachers, they show how compassionate & considerate they are.
The people at the reception (Erdmuthe & Michele) have been extremely helpful in finding replacements when a teacher suddenly was sick & was out for a month, booking my exam & translator, etc. & all the while making sure that no time was lost.
Similarly, all 3 of the driving instructors (shout out to Jimmy, Christian & Nick) have provided valuable insight during my classes which has helped me a lot during my driving exams. Having had a lot of driving experience driving on the left in my home country, driving was not too difficult which all the instructors observed so they immediately focused on the points that I only had to improve. The last 2 classes we basically focused on driving through the areas where the exam is done, which helped in gaining some confidence too. Doing the exam through the school using their vehicle with a VAB instructor by the side was also quite helpful because the instructor (Jimmy in my case) makes sure that one gets to revise the basics before the exam starts.
Please note that you need to book the practical lessons way in advance (for me, it was 3 months) & even then my classes could only be spread out over around 2 months due to lack of slot availability.
Also take into account that although most (probably all?) instructors speak English fluently, the exam is in Dutch unless you get a translator/interpreter (called 'tolk' in Dutch, which can be expensive). In my opinion, doing the exam in Dutch entirely is possible if you have at least obtained a B1 level & you might have to ask the examiner to speak a little slowly and audibly/louder.
I would definitely like to recommend this driving school to others, beginners or ones with prior experience.
