Important to know
  • You must be at least 18 years old to take the test.
  • Driving licence C1: MAM of vehicle is more than 3500 kg, but less than 7500 kg
  • Driving licence C: MAM of vehicle is more than 7500 kg

Take our 7-hour classroom theory course and prepare extra well for the theory test.

 

Every driver with a driving licence C who does commercial transport (as a professional driver) needs the certificate of professional competence (Code 95 on the driving licence). To obtain the professional competence, you take an extra day of 7 hours of basic qualification training.

3Theory: test

Sign in at one of the recognised test centres centres with your identity card.

Without professional competence


The theory test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions. You need to score at least 41 out of 50 to pass. Good luck!


With professional competence


The theory test consists of 50 questions on professional competence. You need to score at least 40 out of 50 on each section. You will also have 8 case studies with 5 questions each and an oral part in which you have to answer 10 questions within an hour.

Test: result

Passed? 

Congratulations! You can now start your practical training with the driving school or opt for a provisional driving licence.
Note: you will have to undergo a medical screening first (= group 2 driving ability certificate).


Attention: your medical certificate must be renewed every 5 years via a recognised medical service.

Failed?

Too bad, that can happen. Prepare well and try again.
