Pass your driving licence D(1) theory test in 3 steps:You must be at least 17 years and 9 months old to take the test. Driving licence D1: transport of up to 16 passengers Driving licence D: transport of 17 or more passengers
In our theory books you will find all the information on the traffic regulations, along with practice questions. You will also receive a personal access code to practise online.
Take our 7-hour classroom theory course without obligation and prepare extra well for the theory test. Every driver with a driving licence D who does commercial transport (as a professional driver) needs the certificate of professional competence (Code 95 on the driving licence). To obtain the professional competence, you take an extra day of 7 hours of basic qualification training.

Sign in at one of the recognised test centres with your identity card.
The theory test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions. You need to score at least 41 out of 50 to pass. Good luck!
The theory test consists of 50 questions on the driving licence and 50 questions on professional competence. You need to score at least 40 out of 50 on each section. You will also have 8 case studies with 5 questions each and an oral part in which you have to answer 10 questions within an hour.
After the test: practical training
Passed your theory test successfully? Then you can fully switch to practical training!Congratulations! You can now start your practical training with the driving school or opt for a provisional driving licence.
Note: you will have to undergo a medical screening first (= group 2 driving ability certificate).
Attention: your medical certificate must be renewed every 5 years via a recognised medical service.
