You must be at least 18 years old (C1E) / 21 years old (CE) and hold a driving licence C Practical training on private grounds + practical training on public roads Also possible with your own trainer: minimum 1 month and maximum 12 months practice with a coach (with a provisional driving licence model 3)
Here you learn the manoeuvres on private grounds with a driving school truck (with trailer) and we take you on public roads afterwards. We recommend 12 hours or more if you really want to master this type of vehicle.
You must be in possession of a valid driving ability certificate, which is listed on your driving licence.
Please note: the cost of the test is not included in the coaching.
What can you expect from the practical test?
The practical test consists of 2 parts:
Part 1 takes place on the grounds of the test centre Part 2 takes place on public roads
The practical test for driving licence C(1)E is taken with a heavy truck with trailer (tipper) or tractor-trailer from VAB Driving School and under the supervision of an experienced driving instructor.
Sign in on the day of the practical test with:
Your identity card Your driving licence C(1) Certificate of passing the theory test (if with professional competence)
Test: result
Congratulations! You have obtained your driving licence C(1)E.
Go to the municipal administration with the ‘driving licence application’ form you received at the test centre to apply for your driving licence C(1)E. Also bring, if necessary, your certificate of basic qualification (if professional competence).
Professionally active as a truck driver?
Then you are obliged to take 35 hours of refresher training every 5 years to maintain your professional competence (Code 95). VAB Driving School is officially recognised as a training centre.
Too bad, that can happen. Analyse where it went wrong and focus on this. Practise well before making another attempt.
If your provisional driving licence has expired, you must follow at least 8 hours of driving lessons and take your test with test supervision from the driving school.
